About Me
Patrik Horňák made his debut at the Slovak National Theater in Bratislava as Sandrino in the opera Il Re Teodore in Venezia by Giovanni Paisiello and as Belmonte in Mozart’s opera The Abduction from the Seraglio in production by Ján Ďurovčík. At the Deutsche Oper Berlin, he appeared in the project Neue Szenen III. In 2019, he made his debut as Ferrando at the Wilhelma Theater in Stuttgart in Mozart’s opera Cosi fan tutte and as Toni Reischmann in the opera Elegy for Young Lovers by Henze.
Again as Ferrando, he performed in a production by the Kammeroper München in Cosi fan tutte, which was staged at the Cuvilliés Theater in Munich. At the Easter Festival in Baden-Baden, Germany, he made his debut as Johannes Brahms in the world premiere of the opera Clara by American composer Victoria Bond.
Patrik Horňák regularly performs at German theatres. He has appeared as Tanzmeister and Brighella in the opera Ariadne auf Naxos by Richard Strauss at the Theater Pforzheim, Theater Ulm, and Theater Regensburg. At the Theater Pforzheim, he also played Jaquino in Beethoven’s opera Fidelio and Don Ottavio in Mozart’s opera Don Giovanni.
As Gabriel von Eisenstein, he made his debut in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus with the Southwest German Philharmonic Orchestra of Constance. In 2023, he portrayed the lead role of Octavio in Lehár’s operetta Giuditta at the Musiktheater Vorarlberg in Austria.
Patrik Horňák, currently based in Stuttgart, regularly performs across Europe.
